Balsamic Brussels Sprouts & Walnuts

I used to hate sprouts until I realized they just needed a high-heat "tan." The walnuts toast right on the pan, soaking up that balsamic sweetness.

Yields: 4 servings Prep Time: 10 minutes  Cook Time: 20 minutes 

What You'll Need

  • 500g Brussels sprouts (halved)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Steps

  1. Toss sprouts in oil, salt, and pepper. 
  2. Roast at 200°C for 20 mins until charred. 
  3. Throw the walnuts onto the tray for the last 5 mins to toast. 
  4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
