Summer Fig, Burrata & Caramelized Walnut Salad
Fresh fig season is short, so we’re making every day count! 🌿 This late-August salad brings together sweet Black Mission figs, creamy burrata cheese, wild arugula, and a generous topping of quick-caramelized walnuts. It’s elegant, fresh, and takes less than 15 minutes to throw together for dinner on the deck.

What You'll Need
- 5 oz wild arugula
- 6 fresh figs (quartered)
- 1 ball fresh Burrata cheese
- 3/4 cup raw walnuts
- 1 tbsp maple syrup + 1 tsp butter (for glazing)
- Aged balsamic glaze & olive oil for drizzling
Steps
- In a small skillet over medium heat, toast walnuts with butter and maple syrup for 3-4 mins until glazed and fragrant. Pour onto parchment paper to cool.
- Lay arugula on a platter, arrange fresh fig quarters, and tear the burrata open in the center.
- Scatter the candied walnuts over the top, then drizzle generously with olive oil and thick balsamic glaze.
