Late September means peak fresh fig season, and we’re making the most of it! 🌿🍕 This Roasted Fig & Goat Cheese Flatbread is drizzled with honey and topped with a heavy crunch of toasted walnuts. It’s sweet, savory, and ready in under 20 minutes for an easy weeknight dinner or autumn wine night. 🍷

What You'll Need

  • 2 naan flatbreads or prepared pizza crusts
  • 4oz goat cheese (softened)
  • 6 fresh Black Mission figs (sliced)
  • 3/4 cup walnuts (whole or coarsely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  •  Fresh rosemary & balsamic glaze

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread goat cheese evenly over flatbreads.
  2. Top with sliced fresh figs and chopped walnuts.
  3.  Bake for 10-12 mins until crust is crisp and walnuts are golden and toasted.
  4.  Drizzle with honey, balsamic glaze, and fresh rosemary before slicing!
