What You'll Need
- 2 ripe persimmons (Fuyu), sliced
- 2 tbsp butter or coconut oil
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup
Steps
- Heat butter or coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add persimmons, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cook 8–10 minutes until soft and lightly caramelized.
- Stir in walnuts 2–3 minutes until warmed.
- Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired. Serve warm.
