Persimmon & Walnut Skillet

What You'll Need

  • 2 ripe persimmons (Fuyu), sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Steps

  1. Heat butter or coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add persimmons, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Cook 8–10 minutes until soft and lightly caramelized.
  4. Stir in walnuts 2–3 minutes until warmed.
  5. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired. Serve warm.
